Rose Cottage invites you to escape the ordinary and experience the extraordinary.

Locally owned and operated, owner Elizabeth King is a Wayne State College alumna who purchased her former sorority house to turn it into a world-class bed and breakfast. Built in 1927, this cozy Arts & Crafts brick cottage has been tastefully restored to reflect its historic nature.

The house maintains original architectural details including oak floors, arched doorways, fireplace and plenty of built-in features. Rose Cottage also features antique furniture throughout along with time-period light fixtures, stained glass pieces and Preservation Palette paint colors.

Conveniently located across from Wayne State College and just blocks away from historic downtown Wayne, shopping and dining. Rose Cottage features three bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Common areas include a coffee nook, dining room, sitting area and enclosed front porch.

Bountiful breakfasts are served in first-class style including fine china, antique linens and crystal stemware. Menus choices reflect Elizabeth’s ethnic heritage as well as her love of European travel. Rose Cottage sets the standard for personalized service and comfortable rooms, all served up with a generous portion of unparalleled hospitality.
